Calling our people:
We design with integrity, honoring the massive journey each stem goes through. From seed, to bud, to bloom. Harvested locally, across the country, or overseas. Carefully packaged, shipped to a market, and delivered to our studio. We thoughtfully process and condition each bloom, depending on their needs. When it comes time to design, there are no small roles. The larger blooms- peonies, garden roses, dahlias- they establish form and create a focal point. But it would be quite boring without smaller blooms- ranunculus, lisianthus, tulips, etc- to help establish more depth or more linear flowers such as larkspur, foxglove, and campanula to create a line for your eye to follow. My personal favorites are what i call “tiny dancers”: the flowers floating above the arrangements. jasmine vine, butterfly ranunculus, fritillaria.. all that is to say: all flowers are created equal. The same amount of heart and attention that goes into placing a luxe peony also goes into placing a sprig of jasmine vine that had fallen to the floor, or a simple carnation.
